- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup frozen peas (optional)
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, and season with salt and pepper. Mix well.
- Add the cooked egg noodles and frozen peas (if using) to the skillet, stirring until combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Spread evenly.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese and grated parmesan cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
