- 1 medium seedless watermelon
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
- 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze (optional)
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Cut the watermelon into 1-inch thick slices or wedges.
- In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, sea salt, and black pepper.
- Brush both sides of the watermelon slices with the olive oil mixture.
- Place the watermelon slices on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until grill marks appear and the watermelon is slightly softened.
- Remove from the grill and drizzle with balsamic glaze, if using.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, try adding a sprinkle of feta cheese on top before serving.
