Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Add the flank steak and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Remove the steak from the marinade and grill for 5-7 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.
  4. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing it thinly against the grain.
  5. Warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side.
  6. Assemble the tacos by placing sliced steak on each tortilla and topping with diced onion, cilantro, tomatoes, and avocado.
  7. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
