- 1 lb flank steak
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 avocado, sliced
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Add the flank steak and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the steak from the marinade and grill for 5-7 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.
- Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing it thinly against the grain.
- Warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side.
- Assemble the tacos by placing sliced steak on each tortilla and topping with diced onion, cilantro, tomatoes, and avocado.
- Serve with lime wedges on the side.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider adding jalapeños or hot sauce.
- You can substitute flank steak with skirt steak or sirloin.
