Juicy, caramelized grilled peaches make for a delightful summer dessert. Simple to prepare and bursting with flavor, these peaches can be enjoyed on their own or served with ice cream.


Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: fresh mint for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, honey, vanilla extract, and salt.
  3. Brush the cut sides of the peach halves with the honey mixture.
  4. Place the peaches cut-side down on the grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes until grill marks appear and the peaches are slightly softened.
  5. Flip the peaches over and grill for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Remove from the grill and serve warm, drizzled with any remaining honey mixture and garnished with fresh mint if desired.

Notes

  • Make sure to choose ripe but firm peaches for the best grilling results.
