- 4 chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, oregano, and lemon juice.
- Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and coat them evenly with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and let any excess drip off.
- Place the chicken thighs skin-side down on the grill. Grill for 6-7 minutes until the skin is crispy and browned.
- Flip the chicken thighs and reduce the heat to medium. Grill for an additional 10-15 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
