Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, oregano, and lemon juice.
  2. Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and coat them evenly with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and let any excess drip off.
  5. Place the chicken thighs skin-side down on the grill. Grill for 6-7 minutes until the skin is crispy and browned.
  6. Flip the chicken thighs and reduce the heat to medium. Grill for an additional 10-15 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
