  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

Deliciously juicy grilled chicken coated in a smoky and tangy BBQ sauce, perfect for summer cookouts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts or thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Rub the mixture all over the chicken pieces to evenly coat them.
  4. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on one side.
  5. Flip the chicken over, brush with BBQ sauce, and cook for another 6-7 minutes.
  6. Flip again, add more BBQ sauce, and cook until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  7. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve with extra BBQ sauce.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in BBQ sauce for a couple of hours before grilling.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken is cooked through without drying it out.
  • Feel free to mix up the spices according to your taste preferences.
