Deliciously juicy grilled chicken coated in a smoky and tangy BBQ sauce, perfect for summer cookouts.

- 4 chicken breasts or thighs, boneless and skinless
- 1 cup BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the mixture all over the chicken pieces to evenly coat them.
- Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on one side.
- Flip the chicken over, brush with BBQ sauce, and cook for another 6-7 minutes.
- Flip again, add more BBQ sauce, and cook until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve with extra BBQ sauce.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in BBQ sauce for a couple of hours before grilling.
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken is cooked through without drying it out.
- Feel free to mix up the spices according to your taste preferences.
