- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp olive oil for cooking
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cucumber, grated and drained
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, red onion, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, pepper, cumin, and egg. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through.
- While the meatballs are cooking, prepare the tzatziki sauce. In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, dill, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Serve the meatballs warm with tzatziki sauce on the side.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken mixture for 30 minutes in the refrigerator before cooking.
- These meatballs can also be baked in the oven at 400°F for 20 minutes if you prefer a healthier option.
