Ingredients

  • 3 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1 container Frosting
  • 2 cups Candy melts
  • to taste Sprinkles
  • 12 Lollipop sticks

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the cake mix instructions. Grease and flour your cake pans.
  2. Prepare the cake mix according to package directions, using eggs, water, and butter.
  3. Bake the cake in the prepared pans and let it cool completely.
  4. Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl. Add the frosting and mix until combined.
  5. Roll the cake mixture into balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Insert lollipop sticks into each cake ball and freeze for about 30 minutes.
  7. Melt the candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  8. Dip each cake pop into the melted candy melts, allowing the excess to drip off.
  9. Sprinkle with your choice of sprinkles before the coating sets.
  10. Let the cake pops cool upright in a cake pop stand or styrofoam block until the coating hardens.
