- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup elbow macaroni
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated cheese for topping (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, beef broth, elbow macaroni, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked and the sauce has thickened.
- Serve hot, topped with grated cheese if desired.
