- 2 ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup maple syrup or agave nectar
- 1/4 cup almond milk (or any non-dairy milk)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine the avocados, cocoa powder, maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla extract, and sea salt.
- Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
- Spoon the mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
- Serve chilled, optionally topped with fresh berries or coconut whipped cream.
Notes
- For a sweeter mousse, add more maple syrup to taste.
- Make sure the avocados are ripe for the best texture.
