- 4 ears of fresh corn, husked and cleaned
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the corn for 3-5 minutes until tender.
- While the corn is cooking, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
- Remove the corn from the pot and drain it well.
- In a large bowl, combine the hot corn with the garlic butter, chopped parsley, and season with salt and pepper.
- Drizzle with lemon juice if using, and toss to coat evenly.
- Serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter.
- You can use frozen corn if fresh corn is not available; just cook according to package instructions.
