- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk

Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and granulated sugar.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs and then add the milk and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. The batter should be smooth but thick.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
- Using a funnel or squeeze bottle, pour the batter into the hot oil in a spiral pattern, starting from the center and working your way outwards.
- Fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
