Ingredients

  • 2 cups Fresh Basil
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1/4 cup Pine Nuts
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a food processor, combine fresh basil, garlic, pine nuts, and Parmesan cheese. Pulse until finely chopped.
  3. With the food processor running, slowly drizzle in olive oil until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta with the pesto. Toss until the pasta is evenly coated.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and fresh basil if desired.
