Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Olive oil (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, chopped spinach, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Unroll the phyllo pastry dough and cut it into squares (about 4×4 inches).
  4. Layer two squares of phyllo dough on top of each other, brushing olive oil between the layers.
  5. Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture in the center of each phyllo square.
  6. Fold the corners of the square over the filling to create a pocket and seal them well.
  7. Brush the tops of the pockets with egg wash.
  8. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
