  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup orange sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Dip each piece into the beaten egg, then coat with cornstarch.
  3. Place the coated chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Spray lightly with vegetable oil.
  4. Air fry the chicken for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. In a separate pan, heat the orange sauce over medium heat until warm.
  6. Once the chicken is cooked, toss it in the warm orange sauce until evenly coated.
  7. Serve the orange chicken over rice or noodles, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
