- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup orange sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Dip each piece into the beaten egg, then coat with cornstarch.
- Place the coated chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Spray lightly with vegetable oil.
- Air fry the chicken for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a separate pan, heat the orange sauce over medium heat until warm.
- Once the chicken is cooked, toss it in the warm orange sauce until evenly coated.
- Serve the orange chicken over rice or noodles, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
