- 1 cup of fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 cup of fresh blueberries
- 1 cup of whipped cream
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 pre-made pie crust or graham cracker crust
- Mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine sliced strawberries, blueberries, sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir gently to coat the berries evenly with sugar.
- Let the berry mixture sit for about 10 minutes to allow the juices to release.
- In another bowl, whip the cream until it forms soft peaks.
- Fold the whipped cream into the berry mixture gently until just combined.
- Spoon the berry and cream mixture into the prepared pie crust, spreading it evenly.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves before slicing and serving.
