- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow bowl, mix the flour with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs.
- In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each chicken thigh in the flour mixture, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Place the breaded chicken thighs in the basket in a single layer, making sure they don’t touch.
- Spray the tops of the chicken with cooking spray.
- Cook in the air fryer for 10 minutes, then flip the chicken and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Check the internal temperature of the chicken to ensure it reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in your favorite spices or sauces for a few hours before breading.
- You can use chicken breasts instead of thighs, but adjust cooking time accordingly.
- Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket for even cooking.
