- 1 tablespoon baking powder

- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup hot dogs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- Optional: Mustard and ketchup for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a mini muffin tin.
- In a large bowl, mix together the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and vegetable oil.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Fold in the hot dog pieces.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared mini muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool for a few minutes before removing from the tin. Serve warm with mustard and ketchup.
