- 1 package of wonton wrappers
- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 avocado, diced
- Olive oil for brushing
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or turkey until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and cook according to package instructions. Set aside.
- Brush a muffin tin with olive oil. Gently press a wonton wrapper into each muffin cup, forming a cup shape.
- Brush the tops of the wonton wrappers with a little more olive oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes or until the edges are crispy and golden brown.
- Remove the wonton cups from the oven and let them cool slightly.
- Fill each wonton cup with the cooked taco meat, then top with cheese, diced tomatoes, green onions, sour cream, and avocado.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your crispy wonton taco cups!
