Ingredients

  • 1 package of wonton wrappers
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • Olive oil for brushing
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or turkey until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning and cook according to package instructions. Set aside.
  4. Brush a muffin tin with olive oil. Gently press a wonton wrapper into each muffin cup, forming a cup shape.
  5. Brush the tops of the wonton wrappers with a little more olive oil.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes or until the edges are crispy and golden brown.
  7. Remove the wonton cups from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  8. Fill each wonton cup with the cooked taco meat, then top with cheese, diced tomatoes, green onions, sour cream, and avocado.
