These oven-baked chicken wings are seasoned to perfection with a flavorful dry rub, delivering a crispy texture and mouthwatering taste without the need for frying.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, cayenne pepper, and baking powder.
- Add the chicken wings to the bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Toss to coat the wings evenly with the dry rub mixture.
- Place a wire rack on a baking sheet and arrange the wings in a single layer on the rack.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the wings are crispy and golden brown, flipping them halfway through for even cooking.
- Remove the wings from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, you can broil the wings for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking.
- Feel free to adjust the spices in the dry rub to suit your taste preferences.
