- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Cooking spray or olive oil spray
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow dish, combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In another shallow dish, beat the eggs.
- In a third shallow dish, place the breadcrumbs.
- Coat each tilapia fillet in the flour mixture, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the breaded tilapia fillets in the basket in a single layer, making sure they do not overlap.
- Spray the tops of the fillets lightly with cooking spray.
- Cook in the air fryer for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fish is golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
