- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko recommended for extra crispiness)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray or olive oil spray
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, place the flour, and in a third bowl, beat the eggs.
- Dredge each shrimp first in flour, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place the coated shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray with cooking spray.
- Cook for 6-8 minutes or until shrimp are golden brown and crispy, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the shrimp in lemon juice and spices for 30 minutes before coating.
- You can substitute Panko breadcrumbs with regular breadcrumbs if needed, but Panko will give a crunchier texture.
- Adjust cooking time based on the size of your shrimp; larger shrimp may require a minute or two longer.
