Ingredients
Scale
- 4 medium russet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
- Sour cream, chives, or your favorite toppings for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly under cold water to remove any dirt.
- Pat the potatoes dry with a kitchen towel.
- Pierce each potato several times with a fork to allow steam to escape during cooking.
- In a mixing bowl, toss the potatoes with olive oil, sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika until evenly coated.
- Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer. If necessary, cook in batches to avoid overcrowding.
- Cook the potatoes for 35-40 minutes, or until they are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, flipping halfway through the cooking time.
- Once cooked, remove the potatoes from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Cut a slit in the top of each potato and fluff the insides with a fork.
- Serve with sour cream, chives, or your favorite toppings.
Notes
- For extra crispy skin, you can increase the cooking time by a few minutes.
- Feel free to customize the seasoning to your taste.
- Leftover baked potatoes can be stored in the refrigerator and reheated in the air fryer.
