- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and garlic, sautéing until softened.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes (with their juice), heavy cream, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
