Description

This creamy bow tie pasta with ground beef is a quick and delicious meal ready in just 30 minutes. It’s perfect for a weeknight dinner that the whole family will love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz bow tie pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the bow tie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and ground beef to the skillet. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through, breaking it up with a wooden spoon, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Add the cooked bow tie pasta to the skillet and toss to combine with the sauce.
  6. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for extra flavor and nutrition.
  • You can substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
