Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the cottage cheese, flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Add the egg and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for a few minutes.
- Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces and shape each piece into a bagel, pressing your finger through the center to create a hole.
- Place the bagels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
