- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (100g) brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (175g) chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and softened butter until smooth.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the mixture and continue to mix until fully combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper. This will help prevent sticking.
- Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of cookie dough and place them in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each cookie.
- Air fry the cookies for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Remove the cookies from the air fryer and let them cool on a wire rack.
Notes
- For softer cookies, underbake by a minute or two.
- You can add nuts or dried fruit to the dough for extra flavor.
- Store leftover cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
