A creamy and comforting clam chowder recipe filled with tender clams, potatoes, and a perfect blend of seasonings.

- 4 slices of bacon, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 cups diced potatoes
- 2 cups clam juice
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cans (6.5 oz each) clams, drained and chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pot.
- Add onion to the pot and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute.
- Add the diced potatoes and clam juice. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until the potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream and clams. Heat through, but do not boil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with crispy bacon and parsley.
