  • 3 cups chocolate pudding, homemade or store-bought
  • 2 cups whipped cream, sweetened
  • 1 cup chocolate shavings or chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Cut the cooled chocolate cake into small cubes.
  2. In a large trifle bowl or individual serving cups, layer half of the chocolate cake cubes at the bottom.
  3. Add a layer of chocolate pudding over the cake cubes, smoothing it out with a spatula.
  4. Next, add a layer of whipped cream on top of the pudding.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining cake cubes, chocolate pudding, and whipped cream.
  6. Top with chocolate shavings or chocolate chips for decoration.
  7. Chill the trifle in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
