Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix well until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and whisk until fully incorporated.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the cookie dough into a large oven-safe skillet and spread it evenly.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
  9. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving warm with ice cream on top.

Notes

  • For extra gooeyness, underbake slightly.
  • Feel free to mix in nuts or other candies if desired.
