- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.
- Place the wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Cook the wings for 25-30 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking to ensure even crisping.
- Once cooked, check that the internal temperature has reached 165°F (74°C).
- Remove the wings from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispy wings, increase the cooking time by a few minutes.
- Feel free to toss the wings in your favorite sauce after cooking for added flavor.
- If you prefer a different seasoning, you can substitute with your favorite dry rub.
