- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko recommended for extra crunch)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each chicken piece into the flour mixture, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Place the coated chicken nuggets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the air fryer and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in buttermilk for an hour before breading.
- Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure even cooking.
