Ingredients

  • 1 cup Fresh cherries
  • 1/2 cup Fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 4 cups Water
  • as needed Ice cubes
  • for garnish Lemon slices
  • for garnish Fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the pitted cherries and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the cherry mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove the pulp.
  3. Add the granulated sugar to the cherry-lemon juice mixture and stir until dissolved.
  4. Pour in the water and mix well. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  5. Serve the cherry lemonade over ice cubes, garnished with lemon slices and mint leaves.
