- 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup crushed crackers or breadcrumbs for topping
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, cooked rice, frozen mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Spread the mixture evenly in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, combine crushed crackers or breadcrumbs with melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated.
- Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the chicken mixture in the baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
