Ingredients

- 1 pint cherry or grape tomatoes
- 8 ounces fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini)
- 1 bunch fresh basil leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Balsamic glaze for drizzling
- Skewers or toothpicks
Instructions
- Rinse the cherry tomatoes and basil leaves under cold water and pat dry.
- On each skewer or toothpick, thread a cherry tomato, followed by a basil leaf, and then a mozzarella ball. Repeat this process until the skewer is filled, leaving a little space at each end.
- Continue until all ingredients are used up.
- Arrange the skewers on a serving platter.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the mozzarella balls in olive oil, garlic, and herbs for a few hours before assembling the skewers.
- Feel free to add a slice of prosciutto or salami for a meatier version.
