Description
This spicy and creamy Cajun shrimp pasta is packed with flavor and is easy to prepare. Perfect for a weeknight dinner or a special occasion.

- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning until evenly coated.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and diced tomatoes, and cook until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add the cooked fettuccine and shrimp to the skillet. Toss to combine and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning to your spice preference.
