Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8 ounces burrata cheese
  • Balsamic reduction, for drizzling
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, toss the halved strawberries with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the strawberries in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Roast the strawberries in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until they are soft and caramelized.
  5. Remove the strawberries from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  6. On a serving platter, place the burrata cheese in the center.
  7. Spoon the roasted strawberries around the burrata.
  8. Drizzle balsamic reduction over the strawberries and burrata.
  9. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.

Notes
