Ingredients

- 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and green onions to create the marinade.
- Add the sliced beef to the marinade and mix well. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight in the refrigerator.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Remove the beef from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off.
- Grill the beef for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve hot with rice or lettuce wraps.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add gochujang (Korean chili paste) to the marinade.
- You can substitute the beef with chicken or pork if desired.
- Serve with kimchi and pickled vegetables for a complete meal.
