Description

A delicious and savory Korean dish made with marinated beef, grilled to perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and green onions to create the marinade.
  2. Add the sliced beef to the marinade and mix well. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the beef from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off.
  5. Grill the beef for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve hot with rice or lettuce wraps.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add gochujang (Korean chili paste) to the marinade.
  • You can substitute the beef with chicken or pork if desired.
  • Serve with kimchi and pickled vegetables for a complete meal.
