Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup black sesame paste
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • a pinch sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease four ramekins and place them on a baking sheet.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the dark chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and whisk in the black sesame paste and granulated sugar until well combined.
  4. Add the eggs and egg yolks, whisking until fully incorporated.
  5. Sift in the flour and sea salt, and gently fold until just combined.
  6. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, until the edges are firm but the center is still soft.
  8. Let cool for 1 minute, then carefully invert each ramekin onto a plate and remove to serve.
