These tender and flavorful BBQ ribs are perfect for your next cookout. They’re slow-cooked to perfection and slathered in a homemade BBQ sauce.

- 2 racks of baby back ribs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 cups BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium heat.
- Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated.
- Place the ribs on the grill, bone side down, and cook for about 2 to 2.5 hours, turning occasionally.
- During the last 30 minutes of cooking, brush the ribs with BBQ sauce every 10 minutes until they are caramelized and sticky.
- Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For extra tenderness, you can wrap the ribs in foil during the last hour of cooking.
- Feel free to use your favorite BBQ sauce or make your own.
