Ingredients

- 1 pound beef sirloin, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups cooked rice
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the beef tips and brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Return the beef to the skillet, then pour in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and thyme.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the beef is tender.
- Serve the beef tips over cooked rice and garnish with fresh parsley.
