  • 1 lb (450g) beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cups mixed bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the sliced beef, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well and let marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Add the bell peppers and broccoli, stir-frying for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  4. Add the garlic and ginger, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet and toss to combine. Cook for another 2 minutes until everything is heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
