- 1 lb (450g) beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cups mixed bell peppers, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well and let marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Add the bell peppers and broccoli, stir-frying for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Add the garlic and ginger, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Return the beef to the skillet and toss to combine. Cook for another 2 minutes until everything is heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot over cooked rice.
