Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup water
- 6 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1 can refried beans
- 1 cup salsa
- Sour cream and chopped cilantro for serving (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onions are translucent.
- Drain any excess fat, then stir in the taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
- Warm the tortillas in a microwave or on a skillet until pliable.
- Spread a layer of refried beans on each tortilla, followed by a generous scoop of the beef mixture, cheese, and salsa.
- Roll up each tortilla tightly, folding in the sides as you go.
- Place the burritos seam-side down in a baking dish. If desired, sprinkle extra cheese on top.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes until heated through.
- Serve with sour cream and cilantro if desired.
