Description
Juicy and flavorful beef burgers, perfect for grilling or pan-frying. Serve with your favorite toppings for a delicious meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, cheese, and other toppings of your choice
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up while cooking.
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. If grilling, lightly oil the grates.
- Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the patties and cook for another 3-4 minutes for medium-rare, or longer to your desired doneness.
- If using cheese, add a slice on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking and cover until melted.
- Remove the patties from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Assemble the burgers by placing the patties on buns and adding your choice of toppings.
