Description

Juicy and flavorful beef burgers, perfect for grilling or pan-frying. Serve with your favorite toppings for a delicious meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, cheese, and other toppings of your choice

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up while cooking.
  3. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. If grilling, lightly oil the grates.
  4. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the patties and cook for another 3-4 minutes for medium-rare, or longer to your desired doneness.
  5. If using cheese, add a slice on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking and cover until melted.
  6. Remove the patties from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes.
  7. Assemble the burgers by placing the patties on buns and adding your choice of toppings.
