Description
A flavorful and easy-to-make beef and broccoli stir-fry that is perfect for weeknight dinners.

- 1 lb flank steak, sliced thinly against the grain
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch until smooth. Add the sliced beef and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the broccoli and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining oil. Add the garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the marinated beef to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2–3 minutes without stirring until the beef is browned. Stir-fry until cooked through.
- Pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer. Return the broccoli to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for another minute until heated through.
- Serve over cooked rice.
