- 4 pounds beef short ribs
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or smoker to 225°F (107°C).
- Season the short ribs generously with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- In a bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce, beef broth, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Place the seasoned short ribs on the grill or smoker, bone side down.
- Cook the ribs for about 3 hours, basting with the BBQ sauce mixture every hour.
- After 3 hours, wrap the ribs in aluminum foil and continue cooking for another 2 hours.
- Unwrap the ribs and baste with more BBQ sauce, then cook for an additional 30 minutes to 1 hour, or until the ribs are tender and the internal temperature reaches 200°F (93°C).
- Remove from the grill, let rest for 10 minutes, then serve with additional BBQ sauce.
