Description
Tender, juicy BBQ ribs cooked to perfection on the grill, slathered in your favorite barbecue sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 racks of baby back ribs
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium heat (about 300°F).
- In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper.
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, covering both sides.
- Place the ribs on the grill, bone side down. Close the lid and cook for about 2 hours, flipping halfway through.
- During the last 30 minutes of cooking, brush the ribs with your barbecue sauce, turning occasionally to caramelize the sauce.
- Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the ribs overnight in the spice rub.
- Feel free to use your favorite BBQ sauce or make your own.
- Cooking times may vary based on your grill and the size of the ribs.
