Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Hamburger buns (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together BBQ sauce, chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender.
  5. Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks and stir to combine with the sauce.
  6. Serve on hamburger buns with additional BBQ sauce if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in BBQ sauce overnight before cooking.
  • You can add chopped onions or bell peppers to the crockpot for added texture and flavor.
