  • Author: ushinzomr
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

Deliciously juicy and tender BBQ chicken grilled to perfection, coated in a homemade BBQ sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat (about 350°F to 400°F).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken breasts to coat evenly.
  4. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on one side.
  5. Flip the chicken and brush with BBQ sauce. Cook for an additional 6-7 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. During the last few minutes of grilling, apply another layer of BBQ sauce for extra flavor.
  7. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  8. Serve with additional BBQ sauce on the side.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in BBQ sauce for a few hours or overnight before grilling.
  • Feel free to use bone-in chicken pieces; just adjust the cooking time accordingly.
